Rain, rain go away

By Rader Lodge | June 03, 2011

Rain, rain go away. Well we really got hit. Lake is coming up fast, which will make for some interesting fishing in some interesting places. Ramps are closed in the park. You will need to use granite creek or walnut creek

Plenty of good fishing to be had and I imagine this will ensure good crappies for years to come. Walleyes still being caught on the flats and in the newly flooded trees. whitebass going good trolling.

Still good crappies on the dam and in the marina and other places.

Look for wipers and whites chasing shad soon as there will be young fry soon.

Catfishing should be tremendous in the weeds.

I would think we will have an extended walleye run the whole month of June.

Bring your golden rule with ya and make sure there 18 plus and allow for shrink. I found out the hard way.
